Program Terms and Conditions

To participate in the CLIENT CONNECTION™ Program ("Program"), please carefully read these Program terms and conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”). Once reviewed, you may acknowledge your agreement to the Program Terms and Conditions while enrolling online at www.clientconnectionplus.com. As part of the Program services for your clinic ("Clinic"), you are required to enroll in a minimum of one campaign to have personalized communications sent to the Clinic’s clients on behalf of the Clinic. Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:

  • You are the Clinic Practice Owner or Manager and are authorized to make binding business decisions and representations on behalf of the Clinic and enroll the Clinic in the Program.
  • Clinic is legally authorized to disclose Information (defined below) to IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. ("IDEXX"), ALLYDVM, LLC., Inc. ("ALLYDVM"), a third party data extractor (“Data Extractor”) acting on behalf of Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc. (“Company”), or any other third party service provider acting on behalf of the Company for the purposes of: (i) providing the Program services to the Clinic and Clinic Clients; (ii) conducting research into Program services and Company product improvements; and (iii) aggregate and deidentify Information for Company’s internal business purposes;

For purposes of the Program, the term “Information” means any information that could reasonably identify an individual pet owner (“Client”) or Client household, including but not limited to, name, address(es), e-mail address(es), phone number of the pet owner ("Client")

  • If you opt-in for e-mail campaigns: Clinic has received and maintains auditable records of a legally valid consent from each Client expressly permitting the Clinic to both disclose Client’s e-mail address(es) to a third-party analytics provider and/or a third party provider acting on behalf of the Company for the purpose of sending commercial and non-commercial communications regarding animal health care and animal health care products on the Clinic’s behalf to Client;
  • If you opt-in for CLIENT CONNECTION Home Delivery promotions, You and/or the Clinic will participate in the Home Delivery Program as a means of dispensing heartworm disease preventive, flea and tick control, and canine dental hygiene and other products ONLY in the context of an established veterinarian-client-patient relationship and will not authorize, dispense, sell, or otherwise provide such products to any person with whom you or the Clinic does not have an established veterinarian-client-patient relationship; and
  • You understand and agree that Information is copied from the Clinic’s database(s) by Data Extractor to third party service providers acting on behalf of Company for the above stated purposes (“Third Party Providers”) and, should those purposes materially change, You and/or Clinic shall receive reasonable notice of such material change during Your participation in the program.

Information Extraction
Clinic authorizes the extraction of Information from Clinic’s database, by the Data Extractor for sending to the Third Party Providers beginning as of enrollment in the Program and ending when the Clinic cancels its participation in the Program. Information Extraction is described below

Automatic Data Extraction
The Clinic must establish a secure automatic data connection through the Data Extractor and as directed by Data Extractor, Information may be extracted daily, but no less than weekly, during the Calendar year for the purpose of providing Program support and to ensure the Clinic can take advantage of monthly mailings for refill reminders and offers based on Company campaigns selected by the Clinic. If Clinic fails to follow this process and establish a secure automatic data connection through the Data Extractor, then Clinic’s ability to participate in the Program may be significantly impacted

Uses of Information

  • Third Party Providers may use the Information to produce direct mail and/or email communications to Clinic Clients on the Clinic’s behalf for the Company CLIENT CONNECTION campaigns selected by the Clinic.
  • Third Party Providers may create various reports based on transaction data included in the Information extracted from the Clinic in connection with the Program. Such reports may include a snapshot of the level of compliance of your patients leaving the clinic with your recommended doses of product(s) based on the CLIENT CONNECTION campaigns selected by Clinic. Such reports will be made available to the Clinic on demand.

Third Party Providers may deidentify and aggregate Information for the purpose of engaging in research, analysis, and Program and Company product improvements, Company internal business purposes, and any other purposes permitted under applicable law. No identifiable Information will be used or shared with Company for these purposes.

Data Privacy
Upon cancellation of Program participation and once the coupon redemptions are analyzed, Third Party Providers will retain Information for as long as necessary to fulfill their and/or Company needs to satisfy any legal obligations. Information no longer needed for those purposes shall be anonymized or deleted. In the event, Third Party Providers or Company needs to retain and/or use Information for purposes not covered in the Terms & Conditions [or the Privacy Notice], You or Clinic will be provided with additional notice. Please be aware that Clinic’s independent subscriptions or relationships with these or other service providers are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Home Delivery Program
To participate in CLIENT CONNECTION Home Delivery promotions, Clinic must have an online pharmacy supported by VetSource ("VETSOURCE"), or any other third-party online pharmacy supplier authorized by or under contract with BI AH USA. Inclusion of any 3rd party Online Pharmacy in Client Connection is at the discretion of BI AH USA and the 3rd Party Online Pharmacy. See Clinic profile page for current, eligible 3rd Party online pharmacy(ies).

Included in the Home Delivery Program for your Clinic is a Company brand page (supplied by the Online Pharmacy Provider) that allows your Clients to purchase BI AH USA products prescribed by you for a specific pet or pets. The goal of the Home Delivery Program is to help your Clients increase compliance in pet health by providing convenient home delivery of Company products that have been prescribed to them by a licensed veterinarian in the context of an existing veterinarian-client-patient relationship. By participating in this Program, you grant your Online Pharmacy Provider permission to share client information with Company for the Program.

General
Company reserves the right to cancel or modify the CLIENT CONNECTION Program at any time for any reason in Company’s sole discretion without notice.

Company retains the right to contact any Clients who opt-in to receive communications directly from Company via coupon, on any of Company’s animal health websites, or through any other means, for any lawful purpose, including without limitation to receive additional information and incentives from Company for the purpose of encouraging them to return to their veterinary clinic to purchase Company brand products.
